Tips
on DILE use Below is a list of
tips that will help you get the most out of your DILE and DILE tuggers. If you think of one, please let me
know. I'd be happy to update the list. _____________________________________________________________________________ General Use of
DILE T-tape or Tapeless >>>> New Tip
(1/18/07)<<<< - New: To help get the bottom ball to
"slide" into the skin tube better/easier, wrap it (on the bottom
and 3/4 up the side - not the top where the nylon rod is) with rejuveness
tape. It works great! - When putting in
the bottom portion of the DILE make sure that the glans and inner skin is
dry, this will insure that the ball "slides" nicely into
place. Using it this way allows for
the full extension of the top portion (small ball or cap) from the bottom
portion. - To concentrate on
the inner skin, IGNORE the above tip!
If the inner skin is a little on the "tacky side" the large
ball does not slide easily into place (and against the glans). What it DOES DO, is "stick" to
the inner skin (though it does slowly make its way down to the glans). With the large ball "sticking"
to the inner skin, all of the tension (when the DILE is turned UP) is focused
on the inner skin. Use your best
judgment. - You may also find
it useful (and comfortable) to place a small piece of cotton between the
bottom ball of the DILE and the glans (a portion of "square cotton
pad" also works well). If this is
too cumbersome, wrap the bottom ball (only the bottom portion and sides - NOT
THE TOP where the rod is) with some rejuveness tape. The tape is soft and smooth and really
helps the ball slide into place. - Paper or Plastic
(or rather, T-tape or tapeless). I've
often wondered myself as to what is REALLY the best way to go, however, very
recently I've come to the following conclusion. Indeed, using T-Tapes is a royal PAIN and
it is inconvenient and using a Tapeless device is easier and much MORE
convenient. That
"convenience" of a Tapeless device, I think, may be a double edged
sword. Because it is SOOO convenient,
you are more likely to skip a day here and there and take it off for half the
day if you would rather not be "tugging." I think this leads to a rather
"sporadic" and "inconsistent" approach to tugging (one of
which I myself am guilty!). If you are
just starting out, I would recommend going with a T-tape device. I half wonder that if I stayed with the
T-Tape DILE and not gone to the Tapeless version, I'd probably be done now. However, the Tapeless version has its
advantages - it is SOOO DARN CONVIENT.
Word to the wise though, do not get tricked into skipping days. Stay on task and you WILL reach your
target. - If using the DILE
(T-Tape or Tapeless) while strapped, you can put a "fishing swivel"
and extra key ring between the end of the DILE rod and the clip of the
strap. This allows you to adjust the
tension/pressure of the DILE without unclipping (you can even do it through
your pants pocket or through the surface of you jeans/pants). - While using either
the T-Tape or Tapeless DILE, you can concentration your focus on either the
ventral, dorsal or left/right sides by placing the bottom portion of the DILE
between the glans and foreskin on that side.
For instance, most restores find that they need "extra skin"
on the dorsal side of the shaft (top).
If this is the case, simply place the bottom portion of the DILE
between the glans and dorsal foreskin and pull the skin forward. This will help focus attention on the top
skin. I'm doing this now and am
developing a nice "draped" effect (like an intact guy) of skin
wrapping around from the sides to the top (dorsal side). DILE T-tape
specific - If you are using
the DILE T-Tape version, you can "concentrate" your attention on
either the ventral, dorsal or left/right sides by raising or lowering the
"punch" holes on the tabs.
For example, if the "punch" hole for the dorsal side tab is
lowered towards POE, than more tension will be on that tab. - When making your
T-tapes, use a "heavy duty" hand held hole punch (~$5.00). The $2 ones just are not "up to the
task" (I went through ~2-3 cheap ones before I bought a "good
one" at stables for ~$5.00 - it works like a charm!). |
