How does it works? The
DILE works on the principle that, when placed under a moderate amount of
tension, skin cells of the foreskin will divide to alleviate the
tension. The DILE provides this
tension. Click here if you would like to learn more
about How Foreskin Restoration Works. Click here if you would like to learn about my own
progress. The DILE ~~~~ 1) THE
NUTS AND BOLTS ~~~~ Below
are pictures of the DILE (left: "t-tape" version; right:
"tapeless" version) with all of their parts labeled (note: the
below diagram is based on the old v06 model - the parts of the new v08 model
work exactly the same).
The
key ring (A) serves as a 'turning tool' and as latch point for connection to
a strap (if desired - here is a good source
of straps). The
T-Tape DILE or The
Tapeless DILE The
top hemisphere in v08 (small ball as picture here in v06) (C2) is used in
conjunction with a silicone retainer (B2) when the DILE is used as a Tapeless
device (part C2 is now a white "hemisphere"). The
nylon threaded rod (D) acts as a screw. The
large ball (E) rests against the glans (part E is
now a white "hemisphere"). ~~~~ 2) THE
MECHANICS ~~~~
Minor (incremental)
adjustments to the "stretch" are as simple as "dialing"
the DILE up or down a few turns. The
DILE can then be clipped to a strap (see Ways to
wear the DILE) or left loose (as strapping is not required). ~~~~ 3) HOW TO PUT IT ON ~~~~ Please
read PRECAUTIONS (click here) before using
your DILE for the first time. Also
read TIPS (click here) for useful suggestions. Putting
on the DILE is rather easy. T-Tape
