The

DILE Insert
Foreskin Restoration System

This item is currently unavailable (I'm working out some kinks in the manufacturing of the AFBs)

Artificial Frenar Band (AFB)

Individuals restoring their foreskins have different "goals," however most Restores strive to attain some amount of coverage that mimics that of the "intact" (click here to access an external link to pictures of an intact foreskin).

"Intact" coverage, however, is quite variable and any casual review of various online sources will demonstrate that all intact foreskins are not created equal.

Although there is great variety in the amount of coverage an intact male enjoys, most Restorers have "coverage while flaccid" as a minimum goal, while other more dedicated individuals might have "coverage while erect" in their cross hairs.

Just as with the intact foreskin, there is also a range in the amount of reliable coverage a Restorer can achieve, as well as in the amount of "tapering" they will ultimately attain.  Even when a Restorer has grown more than enough skin to create a nice "taper" and perhaps enough for coverage when erect, because of the loss of the ridged band (also called the frenar band), a restored foreskin retracts a bit more frequently than a natural intact foreskin.

Beyond acting to keep the foreskin closed around the tip of the glans when the penis is flaccid and, often, even when erect, the ridged band (or frenar band) also plays a key role in sexual arousal.   This role stems from the presence of numerous nerve endings embedded in the frenar band area as well as from the natural retention, around the glans, of "Cowper's fluid" (precum) which is released during sexual stimulation.  The retention of this natural lubricant, in conjunction with the nerve endings associated with the frenar band add to the intact male's sexual experience.

Although it is true that the Restorer can never regenerate the proper tissue and lost nerve endings to recreate a functioning frenar band, it is possible to at least recreate the look and some functionality of a frenar band from a restored foreskin.

After numerous attempts (with limited success) to fashion an Artificial Frenar Band (AFB) using Tegaderm, I have recently developed a system to create AFBs using medical-grade silicone sheathing (shown below).

Artificial Frenar Bands (AFBs)

AFBs are narrow rings (band width = ~0.1 inch; ~3.2 mm) of adhesive backed silicone that come in two diameters (band diameter = ~ 3/4 and 1 inch; ~28.5 and ~23 mm); they are sold in sets of 10 (5 AFBs of two different sizes; the above picture shows a set of 6 - the dots in the picture delineate outer and inner diameters for each of the 6 bands - an even smaller band can also be seen within the center, though I do not think this smaller band has any practical use).

When applied to the tip of the foreskin (at ~POE), the AFB serves to:

           - keep the foreskin closed over the flaccid penis*

           - keep the foreskin closed over the erect penis*

           - help maintain the foreskin in a more natural state

                   and

           - retain "precum" around the glans during foreplay

(yes, the AFR can be worn during intercourse!)

* this however can only happen if the Restorer already has an adequate amount of skin
