Question (Q): How much skin do I need to use the DILE?

Answer (A): If you can use T-Tapes, you have enough skin to use the T-Tape version of the DILE.  As you progress, you can then start using the Tapeless version.  Typically, you would need ~2 inches of skin tube to use the Tapeless version of the DILE (the unexpanded length of the tapeless version is ~1.5 inches).  The T-tape DILE and both DILE tuggers (T-tape and Tapeless versions) can be used both by the beginner and intermediate restorer.   However, because of the need to get some skin "caught" under the retaining ring, the Tapeless DILE is really for intermediate restorers.  If you start off using the T-Tape version, you can then move in to using the Tapeless version when you have developed enough skin.

Q: Can I wear the DILE at night?

A:  I have tried on a number of occasions to where the DILE at night.  Because of my own inability to be patient and "take it easy" with the pressure, I often get woken up from the "extra" pressure resulting from nocturnal erections.  My recommendation is to NOT where the DILE at night.  However, because of my desire to make the best use of that time, I have developed the DILE Tugger (click here for DILE Products I: Expanding DILEs and Tuggers).  The DILE tugger, which comes in the Tapeless or T-tape version, is simply the top portion of a regular DILE.  This can safely be worn at night.  It should also be noted that in its minimum state, the Tapeless DILE also works as a good tugger at night.

Q:  I have out "grown" the length of the nylon rod, what should I do?

A:  I can provide you with a longer rod (click here; DILE Products II: Accessories).

Q:  How do I clean my DILE?

A:  You can wash the DILE with mild soap and let it air dry overnight.

Q:  I lost a part of my DILE (i.e., screws, retainer, etc...), what should I do?

A:  Please refer to DILE Products II: Accessories most parts are listed there.

Q:  The tip of the nylon rod "gabs" into my leg sometimes, what should I do?

A:  Because the nylon rod is "threaded" one small section will have an "exposed thread" (i.e., a point).  Simply give the DILE a 1/4 or 1/2 turn (up or down) and the point should now be away from your leg.

Q:  The large ball on the bottom is too narrow and my glans pushes past (and along side) it, what should I do?

A:  Contact me.  I may be able to provide you with a larger bottom portion.  You should also try and wrap the bottom of the DILE in some rejuveness tape.

Q:  Can I wear the DILE in the shower?

A:  Well, I have never worn the Tapeless version in the shower (see no need to, simply take it off!), but, I suppose you can.  I have worn the T-Tape version in the shower (simply cover with a condom as you would any T-taped system; I find that the Avanti SUPER THIN Polyurethane condom works best - you get MUCH life out of it).
